Dudes With Three Eyes

Okay, so...

****. This one's actually not easy.

I do want to point out right away, this is a rare situation where Clef getting into a physical fight with his opponent is probably a really bad idea. I don't know if Telekill would save Clef from all of John's equipment either; a lot of what he has is supernatural, but a few of them are just random items like flashbang grenades and exploding salamander eggs. And all those packets of pepper he likes to throw in people's eyes.

Will probably need to come back later when I can analyze this more properly.

After reading one of the Nightside short stories and looking over some of the main books again, I can say with some certainty that John has plenty of means to combat Clef even if the latter can resist his powers. (Which I'm sure will depend on how the never-ending SCP revisions wind up going)

John's giant list of items he keeps in his coat includes several relatively mundane weapons he has on-hand for random emergencies. Flashbangs (as I mentioned before), plastic explosives, a few white phosphorus grenades, pepper he uses to blind people, and even a silver set of knuckledusters for melee combat. (which he used to beat down a bunch of vampires) And I'll just say again, he hits harder with his bare fist than anything Clef can survive physically.

And actually, Clef would only be protected against John's RW-based stuff. Magic items like his chaos dice and his aboriginal pointing bone would fall under Type Blue, which Clef doesn't resist. (Unlike Type Green, which he does) And the pointing bone already ignores defenses/protections against magic anyway, so...

All that in mind, I think John starts off with some difficulty, then promptly kicks Clef's ass once equipment starts coming into play. His item set is simply more versatile, and gives him more effective ways to win.
