im pretty sure these have been "debunked" or explained before as to why it doesnt transcend dimensions and what not in vsbw, but can somebody explain why? I cant find these threads either, so.. pls explain.

So, some people are using these to argue for 5D scaling for characters and stuff. Whats the context? Is it true? Is it wrong? Please answer 🙏

Transcending dimensions and thing's being of higher dimension don't automatically make them a higher tier. There needs to be some level of R > F, Infintesimalizing or embedding of dimensions for that to be the case. But even considering the possibility of this being true, it has too many anti-feats. An example of such an Anti-Feat is Goku.

King Kai who exists within these Higher-Dimensions was killed by Cell, who was only Solar-System Level at his prime and was going to self-destruct with only enough power to destroy a planet. No matter how weak King Kai was, if he was a higher-dimensional being, not only would Goku not be able to teleport there, considering he wasn't even a god at the time, but cell's self-destruction should have done nothing. Sure you can say King Kai is higher-dimensional, but the gap between those dimensions is clearly not infinite.

At best you can say Higher-DImensions in DBZ represent realms that simply can't be seen by beings down in the normal universe.

this is actually wrong way of thinking, because the scan never said King Kai is HDE, also having HDE do not equate to having more power, you can have more than 10d but not even have 4d power, and lastly, existing on a higher dimension do not make them having the power equal to the level of the dimension they living in, without having feats or statements, you can living on an Outerverse place, but without feats or statements of being able to destroying or affecting that structure, you still human level

Basically because transcending can also be interpretted as being above something/someone, and the dimensions in question literally lie above the normal universe, so it's a completely plausible interpretation. The statements also lack context and depth regarding these transcending dimensions.

thinking about it now, doesnt transcending and "crossing over" have the same kanji iirc? So like... which one does the context seem to refer to, then? "Crossing over dimensions" or "transcending dimensions"? 🤔
