It's not in the revision content thread because I have no concrete proof and wanted to ask people who knew the dragon quest franchise better than me (I only played DQ VIII and I'm currently playing DQ heroes).
But I think there are some 2 - C feats:
I think characters who are from other DQ games but appeared in this game are "themself" (not other versions like some characters from yu gi oh arc V who came from other generations).
I say that because: Yangus and Jessica were brought in the world of DQ heroes thanks to Empyrea (they met her in DQ VIII). Yangus has the same past in DQ VIII and in DQ heroes (he was a bandit before). Jessica said one of her ancestor was a sage just like in DQ VIII.
Bianca and Nera (who are from DQ V) talked a bit about their past (since I didn't play DQ V I cannot tell if this corresponds to what happened in their original game though).
Also one of the main antagonist (Helmut) used a spell that drained energy from from other DQ worlds (at least DQ IV, DQ V, DQ VI and DQ VIII). If the spell was fully prepared, those words would have been consumed.
Also Helmut can stomp Terry.
The dark dragon Shamuda (who's the final antagonist) should normally be stronger than Helmut.
