This may be absolutely wrong, but I'm curious to what your guys' thoughts will be. Basically, with information recently revealed in Dragon Ball Super, that Beerus's life is tied to that of the Kaioshin, I'm wondering why the Kaioshin didn't ask Beerus to help them beat Buu millions of years ago because hey, if they all die, then Beerus dies. It doesn't make sense that he wouldn't get involved under those circumstances. But then... I started thinking... maybe Beerus did get involved, or he couldn't because, and hear me out on this, Buu was stronger! This is actually consistent with interviews taken with Akira Toriyama as well as past canon events. 1) Toriyama said that Beerus could have destroyed the Kaioshin Realm, but instead he sealed Old Kai in the Z Sword because that wasn't proper. 2) Old Kai upon being freed talked about a villain who was not as powerful as Majin Buu sealing him away. Seems like that implies that back in those days, Buu far surpassed Beerus, otherwise he would have gotten involved during Buu's battle with the Kaioshin. So, what do you guys think?
