Dragon Ball characters resistant to soul damage?

Since it's shown that every character that dies, keeps their power as the same in the afterlife like Raditz was able to fight King Yemma in the afterlife or when Frieza and Cell able to beat up guards unlike other souls (And then Goku was shown consistently above those who are weaker than him in the physical world) . Also Frieza still keeps his original golden power even after death during the tournament of power

So should DB characters have resists to soul damage as their soul is as strong as their physical body?

In the Afterlife the Hellbound and chosen Martial Artists Souls gain physical forms, so it’s not really possible to gain Soul Manipulation from that. Furthermore, in the Toei Anime, the deceased are immortal (except for when they’re in the Living World or World of the Kai’s), and as such don’t qualify either.

Something more accurate would probably be an attempt based on Moro, given we learn Spirit (Ki) is in fact the Soul (we learn this when Goku and Merus describe Moro’s Ki and when Vegeta revives the Namekians), and as such damaged directly dealt to your Ki should technically be damage to your Soul. That said, that’s not…damage in the conventional sense (he’s siphoning them) and—More importantly—No one resists it.

Except Android 17 and 18. Because they’re Androids. Implying they have no Souls…despite the fact they clearly do given Shenron can revive them.

Doesn't the Grand Supreme Kai resist it?
Also Beerus was completely unaffected.
