Also this, this is headcanon. You'd have to prove that's even implied to happen.

Eggman has echoing laughter and echoing everything all throughout the game by the way.

why? He... literally has no more feats in general, be it anti feat or not, is there anything contradicting him being this strong at all? Like... you are highing up the stakes when the evidence is already fulfilled

That would be funny if he just for some reason has that ability.

Regardless, the fact that Eggman, for no reason, is now massive compared to the other characters and is making loud echoing footsteps that shake the screen shows that either A. Eggman somehow became big. Or B. the cast somehow became small, during that minigame. Either way, that feat isn't something a normal Eggman can do normally because either that wasn't a normal Eggman or the others were tiny.

He screamed because he was being murdered, but not decapitated. Screaming from a karate chop is way less ridiculous than screaming as a severed head. Also, you're really gonna count something out on account of it being ridiculous? In the Sonic series of all things? Just roll with what we're shown already.

The problem with your logic is if he's dead, he also can't scream. Why does that remove the possibility of decapitation when Sonic has shown death on-screen before due to it not being of brutal nature (Sonic 06). It's more likely the death had to be cut off for dramatic effect and because they couldn't get away with showing what happened.

Using him screaming as evidence doesn't work because you can't scream while decapitated or dead.
 
Oh by the way, Starline withstood a Spin Attack from Sonic in the same issue where Eggman went ballistic on Starline for trying to kill him. Didn't even leave him winded, just a few tears came out. Sonic the Hedgehog #14 iirc

You should add this instance to the CRT, given it's direct scaling to the top dogs.
 
I'll preface that I do not have the knowledge of the verse to properly get into the nitty gritty of what's canon and who scales, but:

Option 2 seems like a reasonable compromise to me and not particularly controversial.

So, I'll tentatively vote for that unless someone wants to convince me otherwise.
