The ritual is basically a Beacon to find the right place outside of hell according to Hugo in his latest stream. It's not an outright resurrection ritual.

My apologies, but I am not good at evaluating content revision threads for unfamiliar verses, at least not without considerable time available. 🙏

To reitterate, this is just regarding how we classify a living status based on the context of the situation as either, resurrected, undead, deathless, or etc.

It seems like a somewhat unclear form of undead status to me, but I might be wrong. 🙏

How should we go about classifying the Slayer's "living status" in the following context?
  1. The Slayer blows himself up and "dies"
  2. The Slayer (Equipment, Body, and Soul) ends up in Hell.
  3. Instead of being a disembodied soul like the others blue spirit figures in Hell, the Slayer's soul is still inside his, albeit rotten, body.
  4. The Slayer maintains the same bodily functionality and demonic combat as before.
  5. The Slayer has the same access to his armor, weapons, health drop, etc as he normally does when he fights demons now and before.
What do we classify this status as?
They gave the killer a respawn point. But what evidence do you have that it was in this layer of Hell, without the help of external forces, that the executioner was able to find some other point for resurrection? Do not use other dimensions of hell and exit points from them. If there is no other exit point in this dimension, then the Killer will just stay in this dimension until he gets help. I insist on resisting the separation of soul and body and on some form of immortality through the undead, but no more.

who is the killer?

Anyway, lefting the hell is not a issue anymore for the doom eternal key if that is what you talking give he has portal now

??????????????????

We got in-game dialogue confirmation that the ritual that the sentinels performed was only for sending out a beacon to Hell from Argent Dnur.

Leaving Hell was done via leaving the Hell Door and then following the Sentinel Beacon.

DOOM Slayer returned to human form prior to returning to Argent Dnur.

What ability would returning to normal state from zombie state be called? Self Restoration or something?

This is very undeniably a form of immortality but it might not be so good in a vs match type deal when he's sent to a whole new plane of reality. (likely type 4 since he reincarnating into a new body in hell)

This is under the premise that the body in hell and the body from before are different.

DOOM Slayer wakes up in hell with his same armor, Weapons, and suit AI. (Unless we're going under the premise that DOOM reincarnating includes all that) It is very likely the same body, but just zombie state now.

I believe it should be type 8 immortality, as it directly ties into the mark of the slayer, which is basically his rage.
Either way, i agree with most of the things that are proposed.

Will apply accepted revisions to the Updated Post-Divinity to Dark Ages key.

How do you guys feel about this render?
