Does resisting corruption normally allows you to resist all other kinds of it?

Example a character have resists to corruption normally like this

• Corruption (Type 1; Can possess multiple people at once by liquifying himself and invading their bodies, and he can fully possess someone as his main host, gaining access to their own abilities)

But could another kind of corruption which has different effects like this allow to be resisted by the character before?

• Corruption (Type 2: which causes Poison Manipulation/Power Reduction/Death Manipulation) (Hollow's passive existence/Reiryoku is innately poisonous to those without antibodies against them, just being around them causes these people's souls to erode away and die, as well as causing their spiritual powers to decrease)

no we don't assume that
but from what I know, they should be able to resist effect of second corruption if the first character has resistance to poison manip,power reduc,death manip etc. already separately
