Give Doom a month, and he will just absorb shit ton of tier 1 abstract ******* and boom, call it a day. But really, 1 year prep for Doom is ALWAYS an overkill.

Yeah I don't think there's a way to make this fair, give Doom no prep time and he's getting stomped, give him time to prep and he just steamrolls Castlevania.

So what does Doom have here that would work? Because he doesn't resist a lot of Dracula's passives, and what little he resists doesn't look like it reaches Drac's potency.

Without prep? He doesn't resist anything and dies. With prep? He can absorb up to low 1-a entities and get all their hax. Now the amount of hax he can get access to is insane.

How exactly does he absorb the powers? Does he need to activate a device to work? Because if so that's going to screw him over when the castle's and dracula's magic itself is passive and has like 30+ abilities that it hits you with, on top of the range being huge so it's not going to be possible to avoid them.

He does it in various ways, most of the time through tech that's on his body, like his armor. Or magic.

Doom can travel dimensions, what does Drac have that has 'range so huge its impossible for a guy who can just exit this reality to dodge'?

All I remember is the time he stole Beyonders power (a character that isn't involved in this fight and has been retconned like 15 times to nerf his power since) and his power stealing chair (which also involves people who aren't involved in the fight being tricked who also already know how the chair works now so that's not likely to work)
Does 'he gets X prep time' mean he can just offscreen win fights 100% that he may actually lose in canon, to steal their powers via the chair?

A lot more specific on how he absorbs powers than 'various ways', which is completely meaningless.
How, from whom, is he even allowed to steal powers from unrelated third parties in Vs battles rules, are we ignoring stuff like him already doing this to Silver Surfer (therefore meaning SS knows this is his plan and will almost certainly avoid it)
Right now it feels like a lazy no-limits fallacy with no justification presented beyond 'he just steals infinite power because he be like that'.
