This is thread is for discussion on "Dispatch", the first title by AdHoc Studios. Feel free to discuss your thoughts on the game or its scaling as it releases.

ah. right. not main cast stuff.

I think most of Z-Team are 9-B to 9-A, with basically Phenomeman himself scaling to whatever that would be (Star level?)
Yeah most of the Z-Team is probably in the tier 9 range, probably tier 8 by the end of the game. I think Toxic might actually have the best feats of AP overall for lower tier characters since he goes the Dr. Phosphorus route of just melting through everything.

As for Phenomaman, idk if that would be exactly star level since he claims he'd just be absorbing all the sun's energy, and likely just shutting off its fusion. I'm guessing it would be sorta be the inverse of Captain Marvel's feats of reigniting a star in the MCU.

I don't recall that, Chase himself says he moves 50 times faster than a normal human (and subsequently ages 50 times faster)
Here

Edit: Idk why but i cant see the image. But the statement is from extras, art of dispatch. You have to check chapter 1 page 14

I’ll take a look when I can. I’m not opposed to Lightspeed stuff (at least combat speed) since this seems like the game for it, and there’s even some Creedence for it with prism seemingly being able to make light attacks of some kind. Still I’ll have to see

I don't know about Prism but I don't think anyone scales to Chase right now. We just know that his super power is being fast and we don't know if he is still in his prime or not. So it's best to wait new episodes. It would be nice to have SoL rating in this verse though.

Afair feats like absorbing or staying in the sun depends a lot on timeframe, let alone how much the body itself can take, so may not even be too high compared to other heroes
I think that's usually for things like tanking solar energy. Phenomeman's has energy absorption listed as one of his powers, so I'm inclined to believe he isn't going to just go tank it, but absorb the energy till the sun powers down.

That wont mean tier 4 Phenomaman, absorbing something would still take time, you need a calc done for it to know where it gets at

Yeah that's why I didn't say tier 4 yet. Still, it'd at least be in the tier 6 range though.

Speaking of the Sun Feat, Phenomaman never specified how long it would take him to reach the sun, so it can't really be officially calc'd.

That said, even ultra-lowballing it and assuming a whole year as the time frame required, that still puts him at (149,000,000,000m / (365.2425 * 24 * 60 * 60)) / 343 = Mach 13.77.

(Lowkey I think one of the prequel comics has him and Blond Blazer flying in space to like black holes and stuff, sooooo)

I wonder how well the stats are for scaling. I don't think a character having a higher Fighting stat than other characters implies they have higher AP, it just means they are more comfortable fighting. I think Invisigal had a Fight stat equal to Phenomaman towards the end of my Ep4 playthrough, which doesn't seem like it'd be correct in a scaling sense...

I still need to read the comics, but my take on CURRENT (As of episode 4) scaling would be something like...

The strongest character is Phenomaman, with "8-A, likely much higher"

Blonde Blazer is probably not far behind

I think Robert is 9-C, High 8-C (or so) with the Mecha Man Suit. I think that 7-C feat would be an "At most", since that blast did ruin the suit, which seemingly protected Robert inside

Invisigal scales to Robert due to her punching him out, so 9-C

I imagine most are 9-C right now, scaling to vague "able to fight with criminals" feats

Sonar's KE might get into 9-B in monster form

Golem knocks Robert across a room once

I've only done one playthrough, wasn't thinking about powerscaling brainrot stuff, but we need to look out for good feats in those random missions that everyone can go on

Yeah I wouldn't try and base any real scaling off of the in-game stats. That never ends well.

I think the scaling stuff is probably gonna get crazier towards the end, anyway. Like, once the suit is back online and Shroud needs to be dealt with.

So like, if Robert went to the movie with Invisigal, did Mandy just eat dinner alone with another plate of spaghetti going untouched?
