We need basis for it being an outlier. Everyone got a ludicrous power upgrade near the end of the game, so it makes sense Jimmy got one too.

Now, I will ask, could he not be just solid 2-A? not High 2-A? Similar to how we treated Minomon when Dawn/Dusk characters were part High 2-A?
 
I'm not against that since he should still probably be weaker than Takumi and co. but I'll see what others think.
 
On a better note. It appears that GranDracmon may be a Super Boss in the game as there is a trophy for defeating "The Vampire King"
 
All that's left from the OG Cyber Sleuth is Fei and her team of all yellow Digimon

Well, this pretty much confirms a lot of stuff from V-Tamer. Not even three Ultimate (Mega) level were rival for Arkadimon Adult (Champion). I guess, the days of the fandom downplaying V-Tamer are over.
 
Would Fei scale to Takumi? She's a threat at first but is quickly outclassed by just about everyone and is completely irreverent by the end game.

CS!Alphamon seems powerful by RK standards, but not so powerful that he solos his fellow knights, given that Dynasmon and Leopardmon put up good fights against him.

I kinda doubt it, but part of me is expecting/hoping for Jimmy to have a heel-face turn eventually.
 
Add Shakkoumon to the list! Keisuke's team + Chitose's Shakkoumon beat Nokia's Omegamon (and he is supposed to be an RK!)

Nope... she is not. She is not even on the level of Keisuke. But I guess she is on the level of Yuuko, Nokia and Arata.
 
As for Alphamon, seeing that he never used his true power against the other RKs... (he doesn't use the Ouryuken mode, that is considered a Super Ultimate in this game).
 
Fighting Base Aphamon does upgrade the knights quite a bit considering details about the Re Digitize Lucemon fight Mugen and Executor gave me. Base Alphamon and by extention base Knights are much higher on the 2-A/High 2-A scale than we thought.

Also Fei should still be above Jimmy KEN, but below everyone else. I still believe just solid 2-A is good enough for them.
 
Watching that fight... Craniummon is defeated. Though it seems Alphamon left most of the fight to Keisuke. Too bad they could not save CS!Ulforce V-dramon (not V.V., but the original Ulforce of CS world).

As for the Renamon: dunno. I have seen Fei's digimon, and all were in the Ultimate level.

As for Fei's level, she should be inferior to the protagonists, as she was unable to defeat Arkadimon Adult. I don't want to spoil stuff, but... that was an important defeat.
 
It took Darkanine editing Jimmy KEN to make me realize I never added a Lifting Strength classification....rip...

Also it hurts knowing a KISS wanabee solos Pokemon.....That pisses even ME off...
 
Shakkoumon of all Digimon scales to the 2-A stuff? Neat, Shakkoumon was always one of my favorite underrated Digimon.

Also @Zeromaru. Thanks for the clarifcation on Fei's part. That's around where I thought she'd be as well. She did help Takumi fight Eater Eve, though, right? That could justify just 2-A but I'm not sure.
 
Yeah, she did aid in the fight against Eater Eve. Overall she should scale to being above Jimmy and still being very competent. She isn't a top tier, but she's not the same level of fodder Jimmy is.
 
That seems fair, yeah. Fei seems to be the average for most supporting characters. Dang I can't wait to get this game myself.

I dunno when that scene even takes place. Could be a side quest. They have gotten a little more cinematic as of late.

I think all of us can say that. Just looking the playthroughs makes me hype. The Side Quests seem more diverse as well.

Yeah. He does that in the manga, as well. Though it seems they later use Erika's EDEN server to recover those digimon. Strangely, all that Arkadimon eats ends up in the Eater Network, that is connected to Erika's Universe (the digital universe that exist within her server) somehow.
But they do that by the time of the final chapter.
