Well remember if you don't pre-order, no Sistermon's or NX's for you. ovo
But let us not forget them replacing Noir with Ciel.

...I hate everything.

In fact, you don't get Alphamon NX and Dukemon NX if you didn't pre-ordered the japanese 20th aniversary version. So, even if you pre-order now, you will still be missing two digimon (all who bought the international version will be missing these two, as well).

BTW, there is someone here who knows japanese and want to help the Digimon tiering translating this? It explains some of the most broken abilities for the digimon that feature in the 20th anniversary v-pet.

It is an entity that oversees Eaters in the World Hierarchy and accumulates the eaten data.
I finished Cyber Sleuth (First time playing on a console and the experience was incredible) and now I'm going to start a Respect Thread of the Eaters (It will be incomplete until I play Hackers Memory, it will take some time to do that). I believe this will help to improve the Mother Eater page and also perhaps create pages for the other Eaters.

Does anyone know where I can find the other seasons of Digimon? I can only find Frontier and Adventure 01 on VRV

"Mislead your opponent with a magical figure and give death .... Such a breath of darkness released by Lilithmon is a curse. Data eroding the body will disappear from the end. Even when generations change and become a digitama, the pain will continue to remain."

Now I understood what the DRB was saying about the pain of Phanton Pain continuing even after death. Because even if the Digimon is reborn he will continue to suffer the pain of the attack. It's a very interesting curse.

Translation: 13 saints of the Holy Knight Digimon who reign as top of network security. Depending on their ideas that they are working to solve the Digital World and solve problems in various places based on their own way of thinking, they sometimes cooperate and confront each other at times. In the initialization plan of the Digital World called "Project ARK", under the direction of Yggdrasil, the mission of deleting Digimon was give.

Is it just me who is seeing that recently the Saga X was re-commented on the franchise after several years without any mention of it? I mean, the era after the Chronicle began as if the Chronicle had never existed, some even thought that this story was not canonical for the Storyline of the franchise. But after several years with Re: Digitize (In the story of DORUmon that was expanded in Decode making the great bridge to everything we see in the X Saga) we again see that era of the franchise being mentioned and recently we see many X-Antibody Digimon being added in the Digimon Linkz, I wonder if they intend to create a great story that is surrounded by this idea (Maybe a new game telling the story of the Chronicle or even a side-story as it was in Decode).

Yes, I know that's kind of ridiculous to think about. But it would be pretty cool if it were true :V

And yes, I downloaded the whole artbook and I'm translating everything that seems to be important, but ... There are not many news. Some excerpts are just replays of what I already had on the Digimon site, the About tab, and also in the Reference Book profiles. But some things really do doubt such as the explanation about Lilithmon and Alphamon (It is explained that for him to summon a monster of another dimension he must be facing at least two opponents).

But aside from that page of attacks, which Zeromaru showed, only tells what the DRB profiles already bring. Etemon is in it because his Dark Spirits can erase his opponents, Digitamamon is there for the effect of his spiritual attacks, Examon is there because with his great mass an impact of him against an opponent at high speeds would cause great damages, Jesmon is there for managing to transcend the laws of the Digital World, Lucemon is there for the effect of the Dead or Alive, Barbamon is there for him to be able to turn his opponents into evil demons when sending them to the Dark Area. It's just that. Not great news.

I am still reading and seeing if there is any other important information.

"Digimon Capture": Software for searching in the Digital World and discoverning and capturing Digimon. It operates on a personal computer. It was developed by a human who discorvered Digimon as part of Digimon study. Initially it was not on the general net, it was only handled by researdch institution and hackers.

Being honest, I find this idea of the Digimon Storyline following our Real World with year of discovery of the Digimon, gadgets that take care of Digimon, searches (which are represented by the profiles that we have access to) is very interesting.

@Zeed Mirei merely lost his physical body and became a Digital entity. As Mirei herself says in Cyber Sleuth one of the rules of space-time travel is "no bodies," so that conventional matter beings can not travel through the dimensions of space and time and so when traveling by them they usually transforming into Digital Entities, as V.V says it is as if the human were transformed into a Digimon. For example Mirei, as her profile in the Digimon Story Artbook says "A woman who lost her original physical body in a laboratory accident and traveled through the Digital World with a body of data" and as she says in CS she does not can enter the Real World under normal conditions. But this may also be related to the way in which the human being was digitized. As CS explains any type of Real World composition can create a digital totality. The Mental Data of humans were enough to create a cyber body in EDEN and we also have the example of Takumi who took it to the Real World directly. Likewise souls of dead beings can also be transformed into data like the case of Pete who was a cat and became a Digimon. And finally we have the moment where all the material composition turns into data as it is more common in Digimon as we see in many works like Digimon Next (where initially it was only the digitalization of the mind but then the whole body was sent to the Digital World) , Digimon CS (Through Digital Shift) and almost any other work.

With Mirei seems to be the same case, she lost her physical body, but her non-material composition (Soul, mind, etc.) was enough to create a digital body. Thus we can conclude that what is independent in the sense of continuing to exist are the compositions of a body. Matter is independent of soul, mind and all the rest (I say this only in the sense that the body continues to exist even without them, but as CS shows the material body becomes useless without its mind and soul) being thus you can destroy a Digital body composed of Mind/Soul and this will not destroy the material body. In the same way destroying the material body will not destroy the digital body if it is formed only of Mind/Soul.

But if ALL the composition of a living being (All matter, soul, mind, etc.) is transformed into data, then by destroying this composition of data the whole existence of that being will also be destroyed because nothing will be left. This is seen very well in Appmon where humans were warned that if their digital bodies were destroyed the real body would also be destroyed.

So the answer to your question is variable. If only one part of the human body was used to create the digital body the two can exist independently of each other. But if the whole human being was used to create the digital body then the destruction of that digital body would be the definitive end of the human being.

Well, I do find interesting some of such stuff. In fact, that bit of info about Alphamon needing to engage 2 enemies (or more) to summoning the legendary digimon from other dimensions is a good explanation of the green rays usually used in the Digitalize of Soul. Then, the green rays are the version of the attack that doesn't fulfill the condition for summoning (its a very clever retcon to reconcile the anime attack and the DRB one).

Also, the clarification for the Phantom Pain is also interesting.

Are there other bits of info like those?

As for the X-Saga, they retconned it in the Savers era, because the X-Saga was planned to be the "end of Digimon" after the Frontier debacle. They didn't though it would sell enough for Digimon to survive to see another anime (Savers). I guess it just returned to us thanks to Habu.

So far only clarifications of things we already know. Super Ultimate for example is called only "Individuals with power beyond Ultimate," but it is also popularly called Super Ultimate, but it is not a level. Basically that's what Watanabe had already said before, just reaffirmed.

Other things like a fusion that results in a Digimon that has the same evolutionary level is just a "union" because there is no evolution in that process. As you can see, there are not many new things. Only reassurances of things that were already known in the franchise, but many still had doubts about this as Imperialdramon Paladin Mode being the founder of the Royal Knights (Yes, I still meet people on the internet who say that it is not true because this information is not in DRB) .

There are several profiles too, but the ones I translated is just a reuse of what I already had in the other profiles.

Among the clarifications I liked to see them highlighting the fact that even two Digimon being of the same species there could be a big difference in the level of the two due to their training. I see many people on the Internet thinking that Digimon should have the same power because they are of the same species.

It is also said that the "data", "size" and "strength" of a Digimon depend on both his training and the environment in which he is located.

It's old details, but it's good to see them being used again (mostly the idea that uses the franchise itself as part of the Digimon Storyline)
