Not sure what to think about this, due to Abigail's feats being much, much lower than what Mundus has demonstrated. So this statement may not really lead to anything.

No, Abigail was killed by Devil Trigger Dante and the latter needed to use the Sparda Form in order to fight and damage Mundus.

What Dante needed was not Majin form. That was Sparda DT, not "majin form".

Majin form is different from DT Sparda. Majin form is something from Dante only, that appeared for the first time in the manga.

Abigail was defeated by Devil Trigger Dante.

If he is weaker than Mundus, then someone must remove these "stated to have powers rivaling/that rivaled Mundus"
