Destiny: Ability Revision (General Paracausal Changes)

Another ability revision. This one handles some more general additions and updates to the Paracausal abilities on pages. Most notably, the second Darkness element, Strand, is finally being added.
So Strand is a manifestation of Darkness that allows the wielder to manipulate the Weave, a sort of extra layer of reality that is formed by the psychic connections between all things in existence. It manifests these connections as physical entities, cuts them, makes new ones, etc. Of our pages, only Warlocks and Ikora can use it. Of course a number of pages should list a Resistance to Strand, just like with the other elements that Guardians wield.

- ESP (Users can sense the psychic connections that make up the Weave 1 2 3 4 5 6 7)

- Subjective Reality (Manifests psychic connections as physical entities and manipulates them 1 2 3 4)

- Thread Manipulation and Weapon Creation (It manifests in the form of threads, which can in turn be used in various ways, such as weaving them into weapons 1 2 3 4 5 6 7)

- Deconstruction (Connected to Subjective Reality. It can unravel targets, returning the threads that connect them to the Weave 1 2 3 4 5)

- Quantum/Physics Manipulation (Can form paracausal superpositions 1 2)

- Matter Manipulation (Macro-Quantum; can unravel targets into 'quantum strands' 1 2)

- Body Puppetry and Paralysis Inducement (Can use the threads of psychic connections to puppeteer targets, usually by suspending them in the air, temporarily incapacitating them 1 2 3 4)

- Summoning and Explosion Manipulation (Can summon Threadlings, creatures woven from psychic threads, which can erupt in Strand explosions 1 2)

- Homing Attack (Many Strand abilities have some level of homing [visible in literally any gameplay with the element])

- Limited Reconstruction (Strand can potentially be used to reconstruct objects that have connections to many people 1)

Some minor new stuff for Stasis. Also Stasis should be added to Ikora's page.

- Subjective Reality (Stasis relies on one's perception of reality, causing change based on perspective and control of others and self 1 2)

- Space-Time Manipulation (Can manipulate space-time to change the target’s timeframe relative to the user and the world around them 1)

There's also some more general additions for Lightbearers.

- Enhanced Senses (Can see sources of Strand, an invisible thinning in existence 1)

- Deepsight (Should be listed on the Warlock and Ikora pages 1)

- Physics Manipulation (The Light can manipulate gravitational forces, electromagnetic forces and nuclear forces1 2 3 4 5)

- Matter Manipulation (Macro-Quantum: virtual particles, electrons, bosons, etc. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8)

- Plasma Manipulation (Arc Light can form and manipulate plasma 1 2)

- ESP (Arc Light users can sense the electromagnetic forces behind everything 1)

- Clairvoyance (Can potentially gather information via the Ghost cam while dead [also something Guardians can do in gameplay] 1)

- Resistance to Corruption (They already have resistance to the Taken Blight, but don't have Corruption listed. They also resist Hive and Vex corruption, due to the Light 1)

- Resistance to Ascendant Plane effects (It seems Lightbearers in general are fine within the Ascendant Plane 1 2 3)

- Resistance to Deathsongs (Not just the Guardian and their team but powerful Lightbearers [High 6-B?] in general seem to be able to withstand Deathsongs, at least for a while 1 2 3)

The same goes for characters that wield the Darkness.

- Limited Acausality (Type 4; for users of Stasis and Hive Magic [Darkness powers, not much else to say], for Hive through Worms 1 2, for Scorn through Dark Ether 1 2)

- Standard Paracausal Abilities and Dimensional Travel (These were decided upon in the previous ability revision, but some Ascendants are still missing them 1)

- Mind Manipulation and Death Manipulation? (If Psions try to form a psychic connection with a powerful Darkness entity, it could open them up to Darkness entities or even kill them outright 1)

- Supernatural Willpower (Those who can ferry their form from and to the Ascendant Plane 1)

- Resistance to Corruption (Clarity [Clovis Bray's name for Darkness] inherently protects against Vex corruption 1)

Paracausal Entities

- Remove Resistance to Precognition (Already covered by Type 4 Acausality)

Seems fine. Also I'd recommend not removing the resistance to precog as Type 4 Acausality was revised so that it doesn't automatically give resistances anymore so something like resistance to precog would have to be specified

I see (isn't acausality more akin to an unconventional resistance tho?). Does that mean things like Resistance to Causality Manipulation and Fate Manipulation also need to be put on the pages?
 
What did the revision say about that? Do all cases of type 4 acausality need to be reevaluated to decide which pages get which resistances or are you allowed to just edit the page and list the appropriate resistances with scans?
They don’t need to be re evaluated, the ability just doesn’t give any resistances automatically anymore it has to be something demonstrated. So yeah just add the proper resistances that them being paracausal would give like precog
