It's possible when the target believes it's real, which many characters here are going to due to lack of resistance to perception hax.

Aborbing more is a terrible idea, given that each of them would have their own time evident when Mayuri tried it. And she hasn't shown to be able to absorb and fire them out at the same time.

Thing is; every named character who would-be killed by base illusions is already aware of the fact that their fighting against an illusionist who's using illusions. So they aren't killed by it, and in some cases they still just barely escape being killed by it and are definitely still affected physically by them.

Unless you know off the bat that Chrome is using illusions, you're going to be physically affected by them. Even if you don't think you'll be killed by them and manage to survive that way.

Which still would depend on the type of Illusion she does, if it's not something that can instantly kill, the others can still do as they please

How is it not how it works, Quincy are human and in travelling to soul society they dont have their humans bodies they would have to be in soul form because material bodies can not enter soul society. I dont see how them being hundreds of years old means much.

We have statements from illusionists (including one of the best in the world) saying those who can't see through it die, but they are always matched with someone able to counter their illusions, but i will let Yung find the scans. Thank You Yung
 
The quincy of the Vadenreich are all spiritual beings that are hundreds of years old. They aren't humans like Uryu. Some of them were alive when Yhwach was originally active.

She can do a lot more, but she started two solo fights with lava.

Although I'm pretty sure she never used lava again after the second time; and she definitely didn't start with it in this arc or any arc post her discovering real illusions.

Because humans don’t live for hundreds of years? Besides that in this key they’re invisible because they’re made of Reishi in this key and that’s how it’s been treated since it’s been added.

In the mind of someone with precognition.

"Regular, regular, regular, regular, lava out of nowhere".

Kenbunshoku haki allows the user to see/feel the pain of what they sense, so if she sees lava around her and she doesn't see pain via the precog, she'll be perfectly fine.
