For a bit of clarity, 8% is stronger than 5% where his AP value comes from, so the AP diff is higher but still not severe.

That said, I think with being both faster and stronger, Deku should take this. His analytical prediction is better, as is his battle IQ, so he’ll be getting better hits off than Shy will. Couple that with his Air Force attacks + Iron Soles basically doing double hits, and she’s going to be getting hit hard while struggling to hit Deku back, especially since he can dodge her flames or blow them away with Air Force. On top of that, his heat resistance is higher than her flames, so they won’t take him down easily in the first place.

Idk how good her empowerment is but I don’t believe it’s enough to overcome the difference in strength, speed, range and intelligence. I think Deku just KO’s her after predicting her movements and staying ahead with his speed.

Wait, if this is her second key, isn’t she Low 7-C?

That puts the AP diff in HER favor not Deku’s, and at 5.6x which is one shot territory. Meaning they don’t have a compatible key since any other stronger Deku key would one shot her back.

It's not clear in the page, so I wanted to know what percent Deku was at when he resisted Dynamight's fire and surely at 5% he doesn't scale to All Might in heat no? I think shrimpy can help her to dodge his attacks through portals, so his air force shouldn't be an issue. Not sure how skilled Deku is at this point either, but reading his intel section, its nothing impressive nor is his martial arts. Could I see something specific you're talking about that would make him better here?

Another cool thing about shrimpy is that he can see the energy building up in Deku and relay that to SHY so she can have a better understanding on Deku's power to react better. Also, I think even if he does hit, her healing factor should do her decent enough to recover after hiding.

I changed it.

Depends on verse ultimately but I do remember a 4x or 5x being said.

Ngl, this matchup seems more in Deku's favor.
Firstly, he is twice as fast.
Next he has analytical prediction on top of being twice as fast which has helped him amend blitz gaps between him and Gran Torino. Teru can predict a blitz gap but its not good enough to let her evade hits entirely. Best shown when she anticipated how Utsuro would attack by how she leaned on her foot but just could block. Frankly she was lucky Utsuro wasn't going for stabs on purpose in that moment too.

I will say that Teru's Fire aura can produce shockwaves, given their relative AP and Deku's weaker LS, this is blasting back Deku if he starts laying on much pressure, and Teru can end the fight with one grab or throw given the Lifting strength gap.
Her empowerment did allow her to go from being slightly below Spirits, who can barely if at all hurt Tzveta (Who would tank Spirits' hits with a poker face) to kicking clean through Tzveta's ice which Spirits couldn't damage, bruising an empowered Tzveta with one of her punches at this point as well as being able to brute force through Tzveta's whole arsenal. The issue with this though is Teru mainly gets empowered like this while fighting supervillains. People with intense regret, self loathing, insecurities etc. Deku's a frankly chill guy who doesn't bear any hate or sadness in his heart (Or in simpler terms if Teru was fighting sports festival todoroki or an LOV member she would get amped while trying to reach out to them emotionally. Against Deku? Not so much)
So under these conditions I would vote in Deku's favor. UA beginnings would be closer.

Since Deku's Key has been changed. Under these conditions he basically loses his range advantage and will primarily be fighting with straight forward punches (since at this point he is still imitating All might) while Teru is still fine at mid or close range. Deku still has the better prediction, which will be extremely helpful in helping him avoid hits. Although now Teru tagging Deku is more viable. Yet Deku's better general IQ from the fact he always analyzes heroes (along with the fact she is essentially a mini endeavor without any heat drawbacks) he could try think of some plan for someone of her powerset. Teru's win con will lean around grappling while Deku's would more be trying to knock her out or potentially Outlasting with his better stamina.
Won't vote unless I see a Deku supporter throw a counter point now that the key has updated though, since I may be missing something.
