Default universe type assumption???

Do we assume that the default assumption unless stated other wise is that matter makes up a majority of a fictional universes 3-A to low 2-C inner structure?

And if so, if characters has a nondual (transcend a duality related to atoms) state of existence to matter. Would that mean their uninteractable by normal means?
