Most of the time, he just has petty motivations, & absurd plans, & his usual goal of conquering the Tri-State Area, & for many of those, he's ineffectual.

He's definitely an incredible engineer & inventor, & a tragic figure, but....

Well, I guess it would be wrong to say he lacks a driving philosophy, in the same way that it's wrong to say there isn't a cow when standing next to a herd of cattle; He often is driven by a philosophy, but it's hardly ever consistent; His motivations are petty.

You definitely COULD deconstruct why his motivations or plans are silly, but there's so many, where would you even start? & arguably, they often deconstruct themselves, both philosophically, & in actual practical factual execution.

There have been times where he's been a serious threat, though, & for all his incredible achievements, you'd think he would aspire higher than "THE ENTIRE TRI-STATE AREA".

Is there a specific plot of his to discuss?

My debunk: Unlike real life animals, Pokemon enjoy fighting, HP determines how close they are to being knocked out unconscious not dying and you can heal their damage. Pokemon trainers also care and nurture them like what we do with real life animals so they're seen as more than just fighting machines. Sometimes in life you have to fight in order protect yourself and others, me personally I would love to do it with creatures who I can care for. Also about Ghetsis, what Setsuna said about world domination plots and also he's a child abuser which I don't think that needs an explanation.

General Zod (DCEU): "I want to kill all life on Earth so I can rebuild Krypton."
My debunk: That just proves your a selfish **** who don't care about the pain and suffering of other lifeforms. If you want to rebuild Krypton then instead go terraform Venus, an empty planet almost the same size as Earth so there's no mass murder.

I don't think he knows that eventually they'll just grow back to their original number, and the fact he destroys the stones means he can't do so again. And I'm pretty sure it causes major catastrophes that Thanos never takes into account.

In a way, he's absolutely right. The world is in ruin, monster is running rampant and trying to slaughter everyone with Oma being the only thing that unifying the rest of the humanity together, it was only through his power that the rest of humanity managed to survived.

The problem is...well, he's the one that did all of that. The world is in ruin where half of the globe looks less habitable than Sahara desert? That happened because his ascension to demon-kinghood completely ****** the entire multiverse so hard that it crashed into a singular knot instead of timey wimey balls that the KR verse usually have. The monster is running rampant? Remembered how he kinda ****** the timeline? That was also him. By merging all the timelines together, every single villains from across every universes just hang out on this godforsaken earth and they obeyed Oma because if they don't they're getting wipe from history. Unifying the rest of the world? Indeed, the entire world wanted to MURDERED him just so that they can have a semblance of their normal life back. And it was by his whim that the humanity continue to stay alive. Because playing the hero is just such a nostalgic trip down the memories lane to him back when he used to be hero that went around the multiverse and saving the Worlds. Great old time that was.

Zamasu's zero mortal plan is crazy, he hates mortals because of all the evil that they do and can do and thought since the gods are doing nothing about it, then everyone should die. The flaw here is that Zamasu fails to see the good that mortals can do and also fails to realize that not all mortals and bad and loses hope in mortals and gods that they can improve or prevent the pain and suffering/evil that they cause far too quickly. And all this he came to because some mortal do bad = all mortal bad which is fallacy thinking.

Makes me think of a question I heard: Is the sun the smallest star in the solar system? Yes it is the smallest star, albeit along with the biggest and so many other adjectives. This guy is claiming to be the kindest king in the world… when he killed all the other kings. Unsurprisingly when you’re the only person with a certain job, the bar is really low for how good you need to be to be “the best.” Yes all his statements are technically correct… but that doesn’t make them right.
