Apparently they did end credit scenes back then.

In the linked video, Weapon XI is seen reaching out to his head to put himself back together. Seeing as his regen is from Wolverine and that Logan can't regen from decapitation, this can't be a result of that.

Should this not be Type2 Immortality?

I think I am confused here, as the ending of Wolverine I would say is canon, as nothing refutes it from its own canon, while Deadpool's end credits were clearly a joke as he even killed his actor.
