Just a few questions regarding 2 characters in the comics. I'm planning on using them and I need to make sure I understand their abilities well

1. Regarding Mongul's Inversion cubes. Do they affect magic?
2. How does Star Sapphire's mind manip work?

I don't remember it being used against a magical being/magic itself. So probably not (unless we ever see it otherwise)

I will need to look into her stories again to find out. I cannot recall a moment where she uses her mind manip, but I believe it is similar to lanterns. Often they shoot a beam of light and works their way from there. It needs to make contact with the other person for it to work.
