DBZ Toei: Kai Planet Scaling

So before the 3-C status for Kid Buu and SSJ3 Goku was removed due to Fusion Reborn not being canon to the anime, one justification was that their fighting damaged the Planet of the Kais, which was the size of multiple galaxies.

Shouldn't that still make them 3-C, or at least 4-A+?

They only damaged part of the Kais' faraway planet. Besides, the Realm of the Kai — the sphere that orbits around the universe — is stated to be multi-galactic in size, not the planet. The planet is in the center of the realm.

Wasn't Kid Buu going to nuke Grand Kai's Planet? That thing is massive.
