Does Lavos feel? Even so, he resists mind manip, and his energy itself can passively brainwash a genius mage overnight while asleep, so it'd have to be much stronger than that.

Dante's stuff can affect demons who themselves are. Immune to the Demon world mind fuckery, demons themselves are stated to be immune to dread or some shit and on top of that Dante fear haxed a building

So, even if Lavos is 6-D in AP, he can still be affected by haxes. I believe that this is fair. And on top of this, if it wasn't for some reason, Lavos is 5-D, possibly 6-D, so worst case he can be changed to his 5-D key, but I don't think it should be necessary if Dante have some interesting ability.
