Crushing damage when it comes to AP

Just like with piercing damage, Should we treat crushing damage separate from KE? Example feat of a stone wall character trying to crush someone
Just to note, we can't exactly use piercing damage in any shape or form alongside our Tiering System since pressure can't be reliably converted to joules. So piercing damage is pretty much separate from the entire Tiering System as a whole.

For crushing damage tho, we usually treat it as pulverization (Reducing to dust), but it could be frag or v. frag depending upon if there are any fragments left behind, so just use the Table of Destruction values and multiply with the volume of the object being destroyed (Like in the case of the Mountain crushing a skull), so to answer, no, crushing damage is not separate from the tiering system as it is part of the Destruction values for which we use joules/cc (CC is centimeter cubed).

But in the example you showed, this looks to be a straight-up KE feat, since we have a cinematic timeframe of how long it took the big object to charge towards the mecha and how long it took for the mecha to completely stop the big object from accelerating any further and trying to crush her.

But more often than not, if a crushing feat doesn't show any signs of destruction and the feat isn't rapid, just treat it as an LS feat.

If the feat is rapid, like in your example, treat it as a KE/LS feat.

Crushing could also be a PE feat no?
Nah, we use PE for feats that involve lifting shit up in the air or when we need to calculate a giant's AP given the height and mass. Crushing is compressive strength.

But like, if you get crushed by a meteorite free falling (madara's meteor for example), woulrn't we need to find the PE instead of the KE?

No, you'd need to use the splat calculator in that case. At least, I myself use the splat calculator if there is no evidence of ablating, which IIRC happens between 2000-4000 m/s. And on the extreme end, assuming the meteor doesn't slow down, we go with 11 km/s for standard meteor speeds.

But getting crushed by a meteorite really isn't a compressive strength calc, it's literally a meteorite impact calc by that point.
