Couple Questions about Scaling

I have two questions on the nature of scaling which may sound specific but hear me out.
  1. an object that was hit by an attack that breaks targets down to mere particles was only broken into large or noticeable pieces, despite being damages would that be considered a form of durability or resistances?
  2. An individual was defeated by an individual's superior speed, but the battle involved their blades clashing one another as well as having successfully landed hits on her victor before being defeated, would this be close to scaling speeds or not at all?

1. Depends really, whether done by pure brute force or hax, and the severity of the destruction.

2. Once again, depends. Superior speed sometimes doesn't always guarantee a blitz and might allow for some downscaling.

  1. It is done from an omnidirectional blast of an energetic shockwave, the fashion is where particles questions their bonds with one another that they are destroyed in pure fission.
  2. Don't have much more context to add beyond what is given with how the two fought for a bit, their blades clashed with one another, they exchanged wounds but in the end, one managed to get the speed in to finish their enemy. Do not expect a blitz, just close relativity.
