Could Bardock have defeated Chilled without going Super Saiyan?

Lets face it, among everyone we have seen in Frieza's family in the show, Chilled is the weakest there is. I wouldn't really say Base Bardock is much weaker than Chilled considering the fact he only took a kick, after all he did manage to hurt Chilled without going Super Saiyan. When Bardock did go Super Saiyan, Chilled failed to even hurt him to the point a single Ki blast killed him. So I was wondering something, if Bardock went Great Ape, would the fight be more fair instead?

Since the super saiyan form is at least 20x stronger than base, I don't think that great ape will be enough to defeat chilled.
