The Necroa Virus starts partially evolved with these symptoms and can evolve more

Symptoms and Abilities

Hyper Salivation: Inflammation of the submandibular gland increases saliva production and infection rates. Insomnia: Inability to sleep causes irritability and tiredness. Slows future research speed. Fever: Increase in temperature causes general feeling of sickness and reduces concentration. Slows future research speed. Polyphagia: Compulsive hunger forces continuous eating. Lack of hygiene increases risk of infection. Photophobia: Sensitivity and pain when eyes exposed to sunlight. Slows future research speed, but slightly reduces infection rates. Cold Resistance 1: Pathogen evolves to withstand cold temperatures and climate Heat Resistance 1: Pathogen evolves to withstand hot temperatures and climates Drug Resistance 1: Pathogen develops resistance to class 1 and 2 antibiotics. Increases effectiveness in wealthy countries

Composite Human has 1 month to study the virus and potentially start making the cure and the Necroa has the same time to start infecting things and creating a zombie apocalypse.

CH doesn't have prior knowledge besides the fact it's a virus and will start a Zombie Apocalypse soon enough.

Necroa starts with 5000 people infected.

Composite Human is also immune to the disease.

If the virus wipes out humanity (besides CH), it wins. If it gets cured + all the zombies are killed. It loses.

CH can also recruit others to wipe out the disease but they are susceptible to infection.

Also forgot to mention that the Necroa Virus has all the stage 1 transmission upgrades.

You're giving all the scientists in the world who've seen similar funguses in nature 1 month to cure 1 disease.

Even if they don't initially win, they just camp onto the top of a building a few hundred Meters away from wherever's going to be infected and snipe everything infected. Or just blow the whole block up with bombs or a ton of remote detonated explosives.

They didn't have a month of prep before it's released, and also probably have a ton of political BS in their way as with literally everything on the planet.

Wait heck it had a month to spread. Still, even if they can't get that in order, the human would probably figure to just nuke wherever it's spreading around if it proves too hard to cure.

They have several months before the disease progresses to the point that it would have given the specifications in this thread. And no actually on the more ridiculous difficulties there are very few political blocks and once the disease gets a bit more out of control the governments remove all blocks entirely

That's the absolute optimal world where people actually for the most part get along.

The simulation of Plague Inc isn't 100% accurate, considering that it apparently also has an omniscent choosing when it evolves.

But if we're saying Megabrutal is Canon, he can still easily get Zcom together, or just putting whoever's infected into quarantine.

CH injects themselves with the cure (Considering the Virus can be cured by regular humans, I don't see how the CH wouldn't be able to do it within an unreasonable amount of time) and spreads it around the world (would be able to become a world leader within that amount of preptime, tbh), then proceeds to decimate them with ranged weapons and send entire cured human armies after them.

CH quarantines a fuckload of people, cordoning them off into their own sections. When necroa breaks out, some sections may be lost, but its better than the world.
