So this one's a little odd... Chucky gets 2347 joules in AP from a punch with a force of 9900 newtons (based on the common feat linked in his profile). A lion... Using real-world logic, a zebra has various articles about it kicks, with estimates going up to 1360.8 kgf (13344.9 newtons), and lions regularly prey on zebras. Proportionally, if a horse's kicks, which go up to 8722 newtons, can go up to 750 joules, then I can roughly estimate a zebra's AP to be around 1147.5 joules. I have calculated horse kicks to have higher energy values, but uhh, I can't say my method is exactly what you'd call accurate.
So yeah, even though lions have dealt with opponents that pack a more powerful punch than Chucky (a zebra), AP isn't exactly in their favor per se... What will be a problem for Chucky is the lion's physique. A lion can carry zebra carcasses, which can weight 220 to 322 kg for male plains zebras, which even that is above Chucky's paygrade, and that's not mentioning the lion's bite force of 650 psi for sub-adults. Horror movies typically pit killers against regular people with pretty much no semblance of superpowers, but a lion is almost twice as fast as Usain Bolt in short bursts. The wiki thinks a lion's combat speed is better than a grizzly bear, whose paw strikes can go up to 70 mph (31.2928 m/s), but the wiki has yet to explain the veracity of those claims...
Let's say the battle takes place in the African Savannah, giving the lion the homefield advantage? I think Chucky still has a fair chance. Didn't Chucky turn homefield advantages against people before? I only ever watched the Dead Meat kill counts for the series, which is funny because Chucky is pretty much my favorite horror movie killer.
But anyway, lions typically stalk their prey from the brush. They do stalk prey from a bit of a distance, though... about 100 feet in packs: https://nationalzoo.si.edu/animals/lion
My guess? I think Chucky would win against a lion, but the lion's tactics and strength advantages would make the fight tougher for Chucky than him going up against random human #34. This is just a personal guess of mine; I'll see what others thinks.
But yeah, the battle takes place in the African Savannah. Here are the profiles:
