Chris Jericho vs Mori Jin

Cool.

And either way, even if he's faced the styles individuay, that's not evidence that he can face them basically at the same time, with Mori being able to chain several moves from several different styles together.
It's late where I'm at, and I got school tomorrow, so we'll continue this whenever I have free time.
Same. G'night.

Chris Jericho has defeated the likes of John Morrison.

John Morrison is knowledgeable about multiple martial arts. He stated in an interview that he was a former amateur collegiate wrestler and gymnastic, and he's studied kung fu, boxing, capoeira, and parkour, and that he applies all of these forms of martial arts in his fighting style. He uses his parkour to pull extremely acrobatic maneuvers, as well as to use the environment around him to execute his moves as well. He can switch to capoeira kicks and feint kicks to stun and throw his opponents off game. Efficient enough with amateur wrestling to the point where he can hold his own against the likes of Dolph Ziggler in that respective discipline.

Jericho has dealt with people who can seamlessly switch into many different fighting styles and come out the victor.

Mori's Renewal Taekwondo is in of itself basically that but on steroids. It's a style that was created to defeat a style that was in turn made from several different styles and formulated from Soviet technology to be a killing art.

To go into more detail, Northern Style ITF Taekwondo is a style focused primarily on killing, created by North Korea using Chinese Martial Arts and Soviet Technology, identifying the flaws in Chinese Skills, and revolutionizing them. Originally, ITF Taekwondo was already a skill used primarily in real fights and used to kill the opponent, but the new revolutionized ITF gave one the power to rival an entire military platoon.

Renewal Taekwondo is a skill created by the South Korean government by analyzing the flaws in ITF Taekwondo and revolutionizing it even further, basically creating a style meant to oppose Northern Style ITF.

That's a... dumbed down version of it? You kinda left out the part about it being a mixture of several Chinese Martial Arts that was formulated through Soviet technology, granting even a single user the ability to take on an entire military platoon-

But that's basically the dumbed down version yes.

Mb. I didn't mean to dumb it down like that lol.

Even if you consider my "dumbed down" version, that fighting style is already above Jericho's, who mainly relies on KO'ing/Incapping his opponent.

I'll concede and vote Mori mid-high diff FRA. Jericho has a handful of win cons he can definitely pull off, but Mori's more lethal and versatile fighting style will overwhelm Jericho's experience, as well as his more raw and grounded fighting style,

GG's though. I actually had some fun looking back at some WWE clips. Hopefully you learned a thing or two about WWE's level of skill.

Ok….let me give you a basic scenario of some moves Mori would do. Mind you this isn’t exactly a particularly unique or extravagant scenario and is just something Mori regularly does to his opponents.

Say Mori goes for a good old kick or knee to the head and Chris goes to block it, as one does to a kick to the face right. And then Mori dupes with that high end slip the leg under the block to break it with a follow up three stage kick.

Exactly like this

Mind you Chris could always try and dodge the initial move but this is just kind of showing how Mori fights since you can’t guard against this guy, dude’s got specialized move after specialized move going for him.

This is also ignoring Mori can copy Chris' wrestling, but he's literally copied wrestling in-story and never used it because he's not that kind of fighter, so he wouldn't IC utilize his Technique Mimicry here.

Honestly John Morrison vs Mori Jin would've been a better matchup. Too bad we don't have a profile for Morrison.

Chris has his own Technique Mimicry that he'd be more than willing to use, but I'm not too confident in saying that he can copy some of Mori's moves.
