What about the Durability of smurfs? Are they capable of surviving attacks that are higher Tier then their actual Tier?

Usually on their own no. Unless they are shown to be stonewalls.

The Dawn Machine (it's one of the most powerful 2-Cs on the site yet it isn't a smurf). AX unfortunately doesn't have any noteworthy passives which means even mid level members of tier 2 (that have some passive 4-D hax) can beat him.

Its been well-known for some time that Alien X was one of the weakest Tier 2. No Passives, no Resistances, its only Thought-based Hax is common stuff like Reality Warping, Existence Erasure, and Mind Manipulation (with low potency to boot).
Alien X's only slightly noteworthy trait being its minds existing in a pocket dimension separate from its body, but even that isn't very impressive in Tier 2.

then I’d say most if not all of the 7th sense and up characters from saint seiya beat him. They all have Multi stellar and up ls to his unknown, plus, lots of them have tele as well, also, they resist mind, and they have passivish soul/matter hax and more.
