My guess is:

• Control: Since she never formed this obsession with Chainsaw Man, she went to a default personality, which is Nayuta. That, or since Nayuta was the "dominate" personality when Pochita ate himself, she remained as the dominate
• Yoru: With no Chainsaw Man, she never lost control of the Gun Devil and war is generally on the decline anyways due to the Cold War. So she's around and waiting for some trigger point of a larger conflict

Funny enough. Who ever it was on his ass. They chased him down across the planet, shredding at his body until only 28% of him was remaining, then he just went unconscious and was found by the Soviets.

Additionally, while never confirmed, my assumption has generally been the Gun Devil's rampage only existed because Pochita beat War and she lost control of her weapons. The Gun Devil was then hunted by Pochita where they did a metal kill thing.

So without Pochita, there's no Gun Devil rampage. Which is what triggers a lot of background events regarding the series. Though that's all head canon of course.

I think Pochita is the Chainsaw Devil, but also different. Pochita is the remnant of whatever metaphysical objects Chainsaws were, but he ate all those concepts until only the tree cutting thing remained. I think people just reinvented the chainsaw, but it would be an actual chainsaw in this case and not whatever eldritch/metaphysical chainsaw Pochita originally was.

Ignoring speed, Denji erases concepts because Devil's are abstract representation of those concepts. Unless Denjiman eats the Cursed energy Devil's has power wouldn't function against Yuji.

Unbelievable! This chapter is even more disappointing than the ending of Tokyo Ghoul: Re.

Fujimoto wrote a 34-page fanfic trying to squeeze out an unconvincing happy ending that completely devalues the first part. The ending has no soul, no matter how positive it tries to be. Denji and Asa are completely dead as characters, leaving behind only shells of themselves.

Someone change the title from "Part 2" to "Chainsaw Man √A" and blame Pierrotte for the terrible sequel.
