This chapter actually make me felt like Pochiter was the reading comprehension devil all along, cause not only does it not make any sense, it actually feels like a pure "themes and such" and "the theme we made along the way" ending. Ain't complaining about a happy conclusion, but ain't gonna say this doesn't look like a fanfic either.

I'm satisfied with it. I'm confused about the Nayuta return instead of Makima. But otherwise, Denji fulfilled his promise to Asa.
Separate from Chainsaws still being a thing, and Denji's heart. I'd say this ended better than I thought it would.

Like, Makima should still be around, if anything that'd make it so Makima never died after finding them

i don't get why makima is still erased but chainsaws are still a thing, but it wasn't was bad as i expected. i still feel like there's a lot of wasted potential with the old timeline, and a lot of things that fujimoto could've elaborated on, but this is a decent ending.

I think Pochita is the Chainsaw Devil, but also different. Pochita is the remnant of whatever metaphysical objects Chainsaws were, but he ate all those concepts until only the tree cutting thing remained. I think people just reinvented the chainsaw, but it would be an actual chainsaw in this case and not whatever eldritch/metaphysical chainsaw Pochita originally was.

Clearly Denji can erase things he eats beyond causality level. So that even if time is reversed they remain gone.

Denji going through hell chasing being Chainsaw Man is a reflection of Fujimoto himself, and I guess this ending represents Fujimoto realizing that chasing Chainsaw Man doesn't amount to anything but pain.

Fresh off the first read, I think the final chap was cute. Overall, I enjoyed the final bit of part 2. Its not my fav section of CSM but it might grow on me on a full CSM reread. Also I haven’t been on twitter much yet but I know annoying people are already trying to farm banger tweets on the ending.

I was planning to take a trip to the Burj Khalifa, but I'm actually content in this ending. I thought Fujimoto would make some depressing unsatisfactory ending, with a hole left for the reader to fill.
But I can honestly live to read his next work.

Can you even believe that Nayuta truthers and delusional Power believers were rewarded in the end while Asa gets one page of dialogue? IMAGINE posting any one of these panels in 2024.
Also the Aki-Gun theory is based on Nayuta having Bang, not on Pochita's erasure.
