a world without the chainsaw devil
what would be different

devils would still exist
actually, the devils chainsaw erased would probably come back, depending on how things are ordered on the giant cosmic timeline and if chainsaw never existed to begin with
obviously chainsaws wouldn't exist
the hero of hell would have never traumatized most devils, or gone on the killing spree that sent a bunch of devils to earth

Don't forget other fantasy stuff, like
"Human's 6th sense"
"A star that breaks children's mind when observed"
"Crazy wacky ilnesses and syndromes thay don't exist in our world"
"An unknown amount of afterlives"

If i can also make a recommendation i started reading a Manhwa called "Burning Effect" that recently got a continuation called "The Graymark"
It's pretty much a gem that made it to my Too 3 and is today the manga i look forward the most on Webtoon.

Sadly, the first part a.k.a Burning effect is really hard to find online and isn't on webtoon, so you need to hop around a few sites to read it entirely.

Why can Pochita even erase things from existence.

As barem says, it's possible that chainsaws once had other uses, but after Pochita erased so many things, chopping wood became their only use

Thought that would be implying that if in chainsawman universe chainsaws are also a human invention, then somehow humans made a weapon that can erase devil's from existence? Could be related with the fact that in real life, the first ever made chainsaws in history were used for medical purposes for births, technically Pochita intervenes with the devil's reBIRTHing in hell

This was chainsaws use before other medical tools were started to being used instead and chainsaws started to be more commonly used to chop wood, but chainsaws history in the chainsaw Man world could be different than ours

My first thought was that it isn't going to be a Part III, but it'll be revealed that Chainsaw Man is a prequel to Fire Punch in the same way Fire Force is a prequel to Soul Eater.
