Chainsaw Man discussion thread

Gunshy is there a question of "how many pochita drawings were in the end of chainsawman chapters?" (Photo is an example)

Tbh, if someone fighting Makima could kill her 120 something million times then, nothing's really stopping them from killing her 700,000 times more, that's like pouring water into an ocean
This is in the context when a character destroys Japan therefore just killing all 120 million people. However the rest 700,000 are scattered all throughout the world so you have to hunt for them which is way harder and more time consuming than just destroying Japan and ending the fight quickly

For fun, might also help you have a better understanding of the manga. Others will be playing as well.

Win too and you might win a 10$ prize worth of nitro.

Some time has passed, but I read the chapter and still want to share my opinion. Even without the Moon Sword and all that, I was still hoping to see a devil like the Necromoon from Dead Space. Fujimoto is such an unpredictable guy, but the plot remains interesting and he also gave us material that rivals JJK.

I thought of putting buddy stories and part 2 stuff in there, but I wanted to make it fair for people with mid tier knowledge, so I kept it back to Part 1 (mostly)

The tricky questions were the VSBW ones

It was actually very close, they kept gaining and losing on eachother, they got more wrong than you but the difference is that they were faster to make up their minds.

Kahoot rewards fast thinking with a bunch of points.

Yeah ngl I was speedrunning more than I was actually thinking

You know Aaaaaaaa actually brought up his first ever interesting point yesterday with Makima's contract. The raws do indeed use "日本国民" aka Japanese citizens/nationals.

So I decided to look into the total number of people considered to have a Japanese citizenship back in 1997.

A report I downloaded from the Official Statistics of Japan shows the total population of Japan in 1997 was ≈126,166,000 people, however, the Japanese-centric population was only at ≈124,963,000.

Moreover, an archive from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan puts the total number of Japanese nationals/citizens living abroad to be ≈763,977.

So the total number of Japanese citizens is around 125,726,977 in 1997. That's less than the 126.1 million figure that's on Makima's page currently but also technically means killing all of Japan won't make her contract run out.

The reasoning behind it is so wrong, stressingly so.
Should be much stronger than before thanks to news of his existence being leaked
It claims that Denji got stronger because he was caught fighting devils while wearing a public safety devil hunter suit. There is absolutely no reason we should believe the general reaction from the public would be fear. Confusion at the very most, but that is it. If anything, it should be reassuring, considering the government likely has it under control and the very fact that he is wearing a public safety suit. It's attention for the most part and fear is not a part of his strength boost.

If anything, for the rest of Part 1 he does not get a fear boost. His physical stats are affected by Kishibe's training and considering who Kishibe is, that is not a stretch. It is the only logical reasoning behind his continuous growth in strength, especially considering that in the CSM verse, even humans can gain exponential strength through training/contracts alone.
