More than just durability and AP, she was getting blitzed to hell & back.
Technically she wasn't blitzed
When she moved she had the same motion blur lines that Fakesaw had
And she did manage to react to Fakesaw and throw punches and kicks to intercept him
She just, didn't have the dura or AP to have those attacks actually stop his saws

* takes a hit from the Packsaw Man *
What if... what if the true Death Devil is actually Fakesaw Man, and their imitating Chainsaw Man represents mankind's attempts to imitate the mythic figures we venerate that have conquered death. What if also "Death" isn't Death at all, and is just delusion created by the true Death Devil, representing mankind's delusional attempts to defeat death and our penchant for externalizing and making an antagonist of death, despite the fact that death ultimately comes from within, being an internal process wherein vital systems shut down?

Counterpoint: Bandaid boy saw her move and didn't think there was anything supernatural with her. Also, "three seconds" is a pretty normal span of time to cross the distance they crossed in the end.

I'm beginning to think Makima and Yoru did 99% of the work against Pochita.

Considering it's the Death Devil, either she's for some reason nerfed to hell right now or this is just misdirection and in a few chapters she's going to obliterate fakesawman. She's already shown insane regen through just a single ability so her physical body is probably just weak as hell compared to her hax.

Some people have been theorizing that all the death and destruction have desensitized the population so much that death was actually weakened
thoughts?

Being desensitized to death happening around you and no longer being afraid of death are two different things. You may no longer care about the deaths of other strangers around you but that doesn't mean you won't care about the deaths of people you actually care about let alone yourself cause why would people just randomly stop worrying about dying.

I'd be careful dropping fraud allegations for a major villain one second after they told a side character they'd die in 3 seconds.

Should we switch to the latest designs on the profiles, considering they're the new artistic direction going forward?

Makes sense that the Primal Frauds can't measure up. Darkness Devil set the bar so damn high that Snoop Dogg traversing the cosmos in a hotboxed deep space probe couldn't find it
In the words of TVTropes:
Tough Act to Follow:
  • The Darkness Devil is arguably the single most terrifying being in the story, which set up extremely high expectations for the other Primal Fears to live up to. While Falling and Aging both have incredibly intimidating introductions— Falling emerging from the corpses of an apartment complex-sized suicide pact, and Aging turning the strongest attack in the story into dust as an afterthought— neither of them stay scary for the entirety of their appearances like Darkness did. Structurally, this is because Darkness wasn't the main antagonist of the arc it appeared in, meaning all it had to do was be scary for its part in the story. Meanwhile, Falling and Aging were longer-term antagonists, and as such had to display things like personalities and motivations, but this automatically made them less scary than the unexplained Darkness.

Honestly I just kinda took this as people being more afraid of darkness in more ways that falling and aging, people fear aging because it leads to death and I'm still somewhat confused about the fear of falling entails, but the fear of the dark has so much in it along with it being pretty much the most feared thing aside from death. People fear the dark because it represents lack of hope, the unknown, where monsters can hide, evil ext ext. Falling and aging do not have anywhere as many connotations as darkness does and therefore appear more "human", darkness is more literally a force of nature

Except that Darkness is not unknown, at least in this universe, because darkness gives you knowledge

Off topic, but i just read a manga called "Burning effect" and it was ******* peak. It's sequel called "The Graymark" is even better so far imo, wich is a pretty high bar to set. You can never tell what's coming next yet it somehow always exceeds expectation.

The physical act of falling, the sensation your body rejects as certain death, but also falling in mood, falling in education, falling in your career, falling socially. "Falling" is an extremely broad word.
i still don't get out of all things, why that is a primal lmao, you'd think primal's would be a bit more primal?

Well, a fear of falling might be one of the most primal fears our species has considering our ancestors (species-wise, sort of) lived in trees to escape predators and protect their young. Falling from that height could mean death, but if it didn't, the predators around would be death.

Plus, a fear of falling is probably the source for the fear of heights since falling from a high place almost certainly equals death.

Primal doesn't mean esoteric, it means universal
the fear of going splat against the ground is something even babies have, 40% of the population has some form of vertigo
even a fall from a small height can hurt
even people who dont necessarily have a fear of height probably do fear slipping off those heights and cracking their head open, maybe not to the point of paralysis like some people but just as a logical 'i should do everything in my power to not get hurt' way

Nah they just b*tches. I'd win ngl, if I fell I'd just fly honestly, skill issue to those who can't

Should Makima have Supernatural Willpower in her profile? Should her Mind Control have a layer? Because it controlled Angel again when he broke free from Makima's control.
