Well, Fumiko explained why Yoru didn't just weaponize denji on the spot (something we already guessed) and confirmed that the STD devil does exist...
that's sure something

Less explaining, more like gastlighting tbh. Denji was unconscious at that moment, and right now his brain stopped working and is activating the cope-goon mechanism, you can shove any bs into his head and if it's a little bit believable he wouldn't care one bit.

Then she dealt the final blow with that photo.

but she has a point...Yoru can transform even her own children into weapons from distance, she could turn Denji whenever she ******* wants

I do think it's interesting the story's essentially making Denji pick between 3 sides of War, Death & Public Safety, when the plot's been emphasising the whole "you have two choices" aspect.

Also Vol 22 Cover! Already up there as one of favourites.

oh yeah, someone was a Pedophile with her (wait so does the pederast devil exist?)

Losing your family at the age of 14, then making a contract with the STD devil of all things and then sending herself across the world for sex is crazy in a way only Fujimoto can come up with.
at this point i expect devils to have abilities not related to their names at all.
like, imagine the nuclear weapons devil instead of causing big explosions, it causes a huge amount of radiation to fall from the sky.

Makes me wonder if these were the two choices the Fire Devil was talking about. They weren't clear on that either, so I’m kinda lost but curious.

I'm also noticing that the mention of disease has been coming up a lot recently. To TL;DR it: Disease was a devil mentioned alongside the Aging Devil when Barem was comparing Chainsaw Man's fear to them. I'm prepared for an appearance.

I also find it very intriguing how the Fire Devil ties into the nooks and crannies of all this. They're clearly working with Death, or are a pawn spreading terror around. It seems pretty obvious that if the options she was talking about were between War and Death, then the wrong answer for Denji in her case would be War.

It makes me think Makima actually went about it the best way compared to her sisters. She was cruel, but not completely callous and disheartened like them. In contrast, her ulterior motive was to form connections, create balance and control, and break free from the imbalance of that era. She took the most logical path, while her sisters would never have done so, acting instead out of selfish desires, not only self-sufficiency, but outright evil.

I mean, i feel like she's not exactly wrong about it.
If she really wanted to gather power, having THE chainsaw man as her immediate weapon would be benifital, especially when we see earlier outright refuse to do it and we can see her just own a primal devil from blow them apart.
Yoru's dumb but not that dumb to where she would just avoid CSM and think nukes would be enough (especially when Pochita erased them prior and can do that again)

no, it works only when you have sex
what if there's a ritual that gives people an STD without sex? Or having sex with one person gives an STD to any person you're thinking of? the possibilities for its abilities are endless.

no, it works only when you have sex
That's how humans get STDs via casual sexual intercourse. He's talking about the devil itself, and yes, it is plausible, but we don't know how their abilities work in general. We were only made aware of the contract that devil made with Fumiko and the ability she gained from it.
