Introduction
This thread is simple. Its purpose is to address a calc that need renovation. And which is currently being used on the verse page;

1. 28% Gun Devil Erupts from Mount Elbrus: 7-C (35.89 Kilotons of TNT)

Don't worry about scaling, this is a calc group discussion, so scaling will be addressed within an appropriate CRT in the future.

There is not much to say here. Apart from a small change that needs to be made due to Dale's comment on another calc. It should deflate the results.

(i haven't looked at the snake one so i'm not commenting on that at the minute)
second one makes sense to me. ideally it'd come from a proper academic source rather than just google's AI summary thing (but that shouldn't be a big deal because it tends to pull from those kinds of things) but if that's how the values are then the thing will just be decreased by a couple orders of magnitude.

It is fine. The issue is with the feat itself which calculates the Snake Devil opening its mouth incredibly fast and how that translates to 8-A. It does not really interact with any rules and it is technically acceptable since the Chainsaw Man universe does portray displays of kinetic energy when something moves quickly.

Doesn't it satisfy this particular rule?

Considering that the Gun Devil is literally bursting through Mount Elbrus it may make more sense to also consider it KE. In that case using the Gun Devil's mass could be a valid alternative approach.

In this case it probably would be then especially since now if anything the results are far more consistent to each other than before

Hey again, I requested that this thread be reopened because some new research was brought to my attention. It includes a study showing that Mount Elbrus has an ice casing around 40 to even 250 meters deep, among other points that might be useful. All in all, using granite should not be a valid end to apply to this feat and we should find an alternative.
