The Emperor figures out that Luke is on Tatooine & goes to kill him. He finds Luke but standing in his way is Obi-wan Kenobi!

High 7-C versions.

Have At thee!

Sidious to equal to or superior to Yoda who is above Obi-Wan. Sidious is above Vader who is equal to Obi-Wan. Sidious low difficulty.
Keep in mind that Kenobi is protecting Luke here so he should be amped beyond his normal levels.

As long as Obi-Wan has the high ground, he can beat UNLIMITED POWER!

Ok no.

Sidious has this. Obi Wan got his ass handed by Dooku, and Sidious defeated Yoda, who was easily beating Dooku.

That was 7-B Obi Wan, this is high 7-A Obi-wan

Sidious Mid diff. Canon Sidious isn't that far above Vader, but he's still canonically superior.

Make this Mace Windu vs Kenobi and I think Kenobi would take it with high difficulty

Palpatine threw the fight to turn Anakin to the dark side. Mace Windu didn't sense Palpatine's fear, he sensed Anakins.

Seeing as Palpatine kills Windu in 20 seconds after turning Anakin (Anakin cut off his hand, but Windu still had tutaminis and such to bolster himself, meaning he wasn't really that weakened), he's weaker than Palpatine. Palpatine up to that point was just buying time for Anakin to arrive.

The only time Palpatine ever truly fought all-out was against Yoda, who is canonically superior to Mace. It's worth noting that Yoda is the only person Palpatine has ever shown true, undeniable fear towards.

Also:

Windu: Fights Maul, duel is semi-even and Maul's the one who walks away conscious while Windu is KO'd

Ben Kenobi: Fights a much stronger Maul, wins in 3 clashes

"Palpatine threw the fight to turn Anakin to the dark side."

George Lucas confirmed that to be false. He only pretended to be too weak when Anakin arrives.

To all the people saying that Kenobi = Vader, Kenobi is amped while protecting Luke, making him a lot stronger than Vader as he one-shotted Darth Maul who was comparable to Vader.

When pressed, because Obi-Wan is protecting someone else in the end, he does fight. But because he is so true and knows who he is in that moment, you can't defeat that.

Code:
 - Dave Filoni
Thus this should be a good fight.

He still wouldn't be able to beat Sidious or Yoda, though I see what you're saying.

I'd vote Kenobi if this was Talzin or Windu vs Kenobi though

That isn't necessary. I think that they were dead even which was why Maul said he couldn't beat Vader without help, as it would just have been a deadlock with neither being able to beat the other, & why he needed something to tip the balance in his favour. He was superior to Ahsoka who could put up a hard fight against Vader on a dark side Nexus.

Look, this is a stomp. In the Lords of the Sith novel, we see that Sidious can casually equal Vader even when holding back a good deal and not using his true power [albeit this was Vader before his prime]. Sidious by himself was able to toy with and stomp Maul plus Savage two on one. Kenobi lasted as long as he did against them only because Jar'Kai plus Soresu equalled an impenetrable defence (which was only delaying the inevitable as Jensaarai1 would say).

There is no way Kenobi is close to Yoda in power. And even he struggled to beat Sidious.

Should this be closed?

You're getting confused between 7-B Maul & Kenobi & High 7-A Maul & Kenobi.
The 7-B and High 7-A stuff are gone. Disney Canon Star Wars high/top tier Jedi/Sith recently went through some revisions. They're all High 7-C now.

And Palpatine/Yoda still >> Kenobi

Damn, when did that happen ?

Kenobi should still take it as he is protecting Like here & according to Filoni, Kenobi is invincible when protecting Luke.

Last night. That's why I don't blame you for missing them.

I stayed up late doing the revisions. Got up late today morning and feeling like utter shit. Then took care of the handful of remaining ones today afternoon.

Kenobi should still take it as he is protecting Like here & according to Filoni, Kenobi is invincible when protecting Luke.

Uh... Nope. Power feelings isn't bridging the divide between Kenobi and Sidious. We see in the canon comics that even when driven by unmatched anger and hatred, Vader can't do jack shit to Palpatine. Maul's grief on the death of Savage gave him a boost as well. What did that get him? Sidious toyed with them, put his weapon away, then rag-dolled him with TK so badly that Maul was begging for mercy.

To be fair, Kenobi one-shotted a stronger version of Maul who was also comparable to Vader (who said that Kenobi could kill him in an instant if his attention were to waver, when Kenobi's own attention was wavering, even without any psychological amp)

but I can accept your point of view if you think Sidious is a lot stronger.

Keep in mind that Maul was trekking in the desert for days and was likely already exhausted a good bit.

Maul used a move-set which Kenobi was already familiar with and Kenobi took advantage of this. He used a feint and decided to end the battle quickly; not let Maul draw things out and make the same mistakes that Jinn made.

^ Pablo Hidalgo explained this second bit clearly in the Rebels Recon episode following the premiere of Twin Suns.
