Candice Cattnip novel rumor

Two things:

1. (1/3) speed of light is the higher end speed of lightning return stroke I think. So that might be no coincidence given her powers.

2. Does the novel say just "speed of lightning" or explicitly say (1/3) speed of light? Because might be another mistranslation issue.

i cant find the statement same with the one from litto who apperently gains powers of those she eats but only for a short time, but most people who read the novel says its in the link ill look more and see if theres another source but for now its just a rumor

Anyone besides Ichigo being stated to be Light speed is going to be an outlier even assuming people don't chalk it up as a hyperbole
 
The manga already had faster than light speed feats, but they were not accepted because the light shown didn't behave like light. They may be faster than light on the author's eyes, but that will never be accepted here for the reasons I stated.

With that logic so does 90% of fiction but that's somewhat offtopic, hopefully the full novel is translated soon
 
Yes, however, Ichigo moved within and before Yhwach could get all of his powers back and kill him in an instant. That's at least 10,000 times the speed of light, to be precise. Is it an outlier because the rays of light don't behave like light?
 
normally light travels at sol no matter what.. but people like to low ball it.. i hate it too cuz by this logic it makes ALOT of ppl SOL but meh
 
The fact that it's specified to be "the blow" makes it clear that it's more about power.

Being faster wouldn't make it Relativistic anyways.
 
i was just thinking that then it also says "surpasses any lightning" grr maybe i just dont fully understand how this works
 
I agree. The words "the blow from her Electrocution still far surpasses any lightning in the realm of nature" seems more about destructive power than anything else.

"The thunderstorm which even surpasses nature's lightning, was mostly absorbed into the ground through the large tree, meanwhile the flank attack generated by the thunderstorm was repelled in the same fashion as before by the big sword in the possession of the man with the black jacket."

It doesn't seem to be about the power, but just in general. Clouds and sounds of thunder are referenced multiple times. There are also other feats/explanation for other character's abilities like Meninas and Giriko.

It's talking about the power of her lightning.
 
It's like you're trying to force an upgrade down our throats, literally everytime that same phrase has been mentioned it's been about the power of her lightning and not her speed, you're going to need more proof than your probably biased opinion to force an upgrade so big with such a blatantly out of context statement.
 
This is my third comment in this thread, why have you become so hostile already?

Either way, this phrase has been used twice, so you can stop exaggeratting. The first usage refers to the blow when Candice demonstrates it in front of Mayuri. The second refers to the lightning in general since it's refering the speed and power since Tsukishima was able to react to it and cause a tree to block it.

I am not shoving anything down anyone's throats with a "biased opinion and out of context statement", I'm just providing a quote and character scaling from this new novel update. I even provided context by linking the whole updated section, so your comment just seems to be blatant hostility.

If IMadeThisOn8 was trying to shove an upgrade down our throats, I'm pretty sure they would have made a content revision thread, or an overt post asking if the statements warrant considering making such a thread. For goodness' sake, they have the same avatar as LordAizenSama. Of course they'd make overt attempts to give Bleach upgrades. But nope. All they did was post the quotes and then go on to say that the abilities of other characters were also explained.

I'm not sure if others will agree with me, but you are indeed coming off as hostile in your post.
