Can someone have both Hive Mind and Multiple Selves (both type 1)?

Character A has the ability to mind-possess other people. He is mainly controlling character B, but we have seem him keep control of B while also controlling more people (we use C as an example). While controlling B, A still has his mind in his own body (we even saw both bodies react to stuff at the same time) and still keeps this control while extending it to C.
This I guess counts as Hive Mind.
However, C mentions that while controlled, they were still capable of perceiving and feeling everything that was going on, and later even mention feeling stuff happening to A at the time.
Would this count as Multiple Selves, for the hosts?

I think that can be possible. I dont have an example now, but in fiction almost everything is possible with a good explication.
