Can i make someone have fake/wrong prior knowledge for a match?

But basically there's this guy who can end any human being at FTL speed but didn't on his only fight on screen cuz he wanted an information the opponent had
So I'd like to try and replicate this scenario
Would it be addable?

Perhaps with prep time it would be possible if using means like sabotage, propaganda, or other physical and mental/physiological and psychological warfare methods, though it depends on how either absence of info or presence of misinformation/disinformation affect how characters fight and subsequently how the outcome would change.

this is depend, if the characters themselves have abilities, skills, techniques that can provide fake, wrong knowledge/information to their opponents then it is fine, but if the fake/wrong prior knowledge was given from the one who make the vs match, then it won't count, as the match maker purposely create disadvantage for characters in the match
