Butch the Bully vs Thanos

the dino can still be hurt by piercing damage, it's not high enough into 9-B to be bulletproof
 
If Butch the Bully has enough ammo in his pistol, he can shoot up Thanos pretty easily.

(I never thought I'd be saying that, but here we are.)
 
...It's still a dinosaur, guys. A pistol's gonna hurt it, sure, but not kill it. Certainly not within the timespan Butch would need to kill it in in order to survive. If anything, it'll just make it angry.

+1 for Butch getting vored.
 
Here's how I think it would go.

Butch and Thanos simonattoi start 40 meters away from each other. SBA says it's in Central Park, so Butch has some cover.

Butch hopefully is not dumb enough to fire at Thanos in the open. He ducks behind a tree, lines up his shot carefully, and lands it.

Thanos is alerted to the loud gunshot ~40 meters away from it, and begins charging towards it. Adrenaline kicks in for Butch. His hands start shaking, badly, and for good reason. He can't climb the tree, he's too out of shape. He can't run, again, out of shape. He can't hide anymore, as an enormous theropod out for blood is growing closer by the second. The last thing he can do is fight.

Butch leaps out from behind the tree. He fires his remaining rounds, screaming in a mixture of fear, anger, and existential dread all the while. Most of them miss. One or two connect, but by then Thanos is too close for it to matter.

Crunch.
 
Butch has Stealth Mastery. Cool Cat, who has Enhanced Senses, couldn't see him in broad daylight, and he's escaped from prison several times without anyone noticing.

Thanos would start charging towards the source of the sound that hurt it.

Cat senses are also more vision-based, while Thanos primarily uses smell and hearing. Completely different playing field.
 
There's also that Butch probably has no idea how to properly aim if he even knows how to fire the gun. He was just gonna take it to intimidate people.
 
Thanos's size is exactly why bullets wouldn't be as effective. The bigger something is, the less effective shooting it with a pistol is gonna be. That's why you see big game hunters with huge, high-caliber rifles.

Have you seen a fat kid run? They're not fast. Surely on some level, he knows this.

Either way, he gets vored.
 
oh shit...you ment the dino. please add an image of the dinosaur next time, as I thought this was fortnite thanos. yeah, still dino on this one.
