Jamesthetaker requested me to change the name of the Browncoat Zombie to Zombie. But I found it to be quite strange to change a full-fledged name to a name that sounds generic.

According to the Zombie page in Plants vs. Zombies wiki, normally the Zombies are called as Zombies indeed, but in Plants. vs. Zombies 2, they are called as Basic Zombies.

If you are knowledgeable about the Plants vs. Zombies verse, I'd like to request your opinion on whether the name should be changed from Browncoat Zombie to Zombie or not.

Browncoats are just the vanilla skin for the fodder zombies. They aren't a special class and every different world in PvZ 2 has a variant of them with different skins but the same stats all around. As such, it would make more sense to call them Basic Zombies than Browncoats because Browncoats don't appear for more than 2 levels.

Basically, Browncoats is the name for the original skin of zombies, they just the basic zombies with no special or whatsoever. Later in PvZ 2 where time travel shenanigans is introduced, other version of Browncoats appeared in different period of time like in Mummy, Pirate and so on. Despite this, they was considered to be the "Browncoats" in their own world and their stats isn't much different from the original.

To sum up, every basic Zombies is just the same beside the skins, their stats are equal. "Basic Zombies" is the name fit this profile at most.
