Body Surface Volume Calculation question

I know that there is a way to get the surface area of a human body with getting their height and weight, such as with this calculator, what I am wondering, what is the actual formula for this? because I am looking for a way to reverse calculate a volume to find height, because I have both the volume and the weight down.

Ex.
  • Surface Area volume = 10.254 m^2
  • Weight 2 = 800 pounds = 362.874 kg
Thoughts?

If you scroll down on the right side of the calculator, you'll find a bunch of formulae for the various methods of finding body surface area.

5 in total. Du Bois, Mosteller, Haycock, Gehan and George, and Fujimoto.
