Boboiboy can deflect matter stuff

So back in August we had a Reinhard vs boboiboy matchup, Rein L on that one since boboiboy ciuld deflect matter hax based on his fight with ejojo
Real question
So as we see, jojos attack ignored the air and while traveling to boboiboy got deflected by his whirlwind, now i personally still kind of feel thatbut doesn't make sense. So i need clarification can a whirlwind barrier that can deflect matter changing bubbles also work on Reinhards matter destruction and recreation hax?
