BloodRayne: Height Chart

I'd caution that canon heights take precedence though so just to caution since they seem to vary through games based on research

Unfortunately, there are no canon heights currently - with the exception of the 15 feet for the Brute. Currently, we have been using 6 ft 6 inches for Rayne which is what is listed in the fanon wiki, but it has no source other than headcanon it seems. So, this is likely more accurate

The heights do seem a bit over the top. We see regular humans who aren't dwarfed by Rayne after all.

I notice the Brute has its feet apart and is hunched. Could the Brute's 15 foot height refer to its height when it stands straight? It usually would.

Brutes can't stand straight. They have large bone plates in their back forcing them to hunch over.

As for the regular humans, perhaps people in Rayne's world are just taller.

It's possible. I just have concerns due to how official heights often include the full length without accounting for body shape. Pokemon profiles use full length for snake-shaped Pokemon for example.

Also wouldn't it be easier to get the measurements of the models themselves rather than scaling them up? Please remove the approval, it's clearly an error on my end and I haven't reviewed this well enough because the scaling method seems dicey, I had assumed this was a simple measurement of in-game models.

Usually models like these are 50 meters tall or even taller, so they don't reflect the canon height. You have to scale them down.

Yeah that's usually a problem with downloaded models. I'll verify the models for myself in Blender and see what can be adjusted. Given it's scaled down, it shouldn't be a problem in theory but given a Content Mod has doubts it might be worth clarifying

I just have concerns due to the way heights apply for a hunched shape, and due to normal people not being dwarfed by Rayne. 7'11" in heels would make her freakishly tall even without heels. The Predator (Kevin Peter Hall) who dwarfed Arnold Schwarzenegger was 7'2". This height would make her taller than that even without her heels. Most modern adult men are below 6 feet tall.

My concerns about the height of the Brute would likely only result in a small margin of error. Depending on how the Brute's height is measured. What's the source for that fifteen foot height?

Statement from the game.

Those guys in the video were taller than her even in heels. 8 foot tall guys in the verse seems a bit weird. Like Stephanie Meyer's "no men under six foot in my books" but more over the top.
That does open up room for it to be an approximation, and its hunched shape also makes it open to interpretation. Maybe if we measure its size while including the hunched forward part and maybe the bent legs in its height? That would result in a smaller result, but not massively.

I'd like to investigate for myself, where were these models taken?
