To make it more fair, Rukia has the speed advantage.

Wouldn't that be a reverse stomp then...?
Even with the distance, it would take Rukia around 10 seconds to cross the distance (assuming she can keep up the pace for this long). And while yes, 10 seconds would be plenty for an High Hypersonic person, it still wouldn't really be enough for her to pull off an AoE attack or use her hax. By the time Rukia reaches her, she gets Absolute Zero'd.

Maka's soul perception would certainly make her able to detect Rukia from this distance. However, it's not in-character for her to use her soul-related hax unless it becomes necessary. In this context, she would just see something approaching really fast and would brace in order to fight it in melee combat, or try hitting it with projectiles as it gets closer. But given the speed advantage, none of it would really work.
