Yada Yada levels are gained from absorbing souls Yada Yada Sages have levels in the millions Yada Yada Their souls literally become more dense as they level up.

ah I was guessing it was gonna be something like that. but how would that pair up with sages like Yoshifumi only being level 10? (in this case, we are assuming "superhero time" doesn't activate) I'm pretty sure Sion is the only one with a level in the millions due to her ability, or at least, one of the two sages that have had their levels explicitly stated, that being her and Yoshifumi.
