Standard Equipment: Gambol Shroud, Dust Ammunition

Intelligence: Very high

Weaknesses: Continual use of her Aura will cause it to decay to the point where she can be left weakened or even incapacitated.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Gambol Shroud - Blake's weapon is the Gambol Shroud, a set of two swords consisting of a katana, used as a primary sword, and a large cleaver, which is used as a sheathe. The essence of the two weapon components is that they fit together as one, but come apart to be two, so that they are compact for easier carrying. The katana also has a compact, striker fired pistol built into its hilt, allowing it to be used as a ranged weapon or for the recoil to be used to swing or anchor the blade. When in pistol form, Blake wraps a black ribbon tied to her right arm around Gambol Shroud's trigger, allowing her to freely swing it around in a way similar to a kusarigama. In this form, her fighting style is somewhat similar to that of Ruby Rose, as both girls use the recoil from the firearm to increase the velocity of their weapon. The ribbon has been shown to be very strong, durable and elastic, as it has been reliably used as both a slingshot and a grappling hook.
**Dust Abilities - Specialized Dust cartridges can be inserted into Gambol Shroud to modify Blake's Semblance, changing her Shadows into more than just mere afterimages, in a manner not dissimilar to Weiss Schnee's weapon, Myrtenaster. The form her Shadows take on depends on the element of Blake's choosing, significantly increasing her Semblance's tactical applications.
***Fire Dust (Red) - Changes Blake's Shadow into a fire bomb that explodes violently when it detonates, damaging enemies.
***Earth Dust - Changes Blake's Shadow into a stone statue, which can be used as cover and defense from attacks.
***Ice Dust (Dark blue) - Changes Blake's Shadow into an ice sculpture, which with correct timing can trap enemy weapons inside.
***Violet Dust - Changes Blake's Shadow into a dark haze, lingering longer than her normal clones and blocking people's vision.
  • Semblance: Shadow - Blake's Semblance allows her to create Shadow-clones. These clones can be used by Blake to either distract, shield, or hide herself from the enemy for a brief amount of time. These copies are not just illusions and have some substance to them, as Blake has demonstrated the ability to jump off of them and use them to exert force on herself as a means of reaching greater heights. It is unknown exactly how long a shadow copy can appear for or how far away from Blake they can exist. So far, they have only appeared in Blake's immediate area, normally right next to her.
A fight between black cats. In character, no prior knowledge or prep time, SPEED EQUALIZED. Who wins?

T'Challa - 6 (Cropfist, Gargoyle One, Sir Ovens, Elione-Arisu, Peter "Quicksilver" Maximoff, Matthew Schroeder)

Blake - 7 (Dat Dot, Poinciana1971, Laughing Manson, starryknight, ShrekAlmighty, Jinx666, Morlock435)

Inconclusive - 3 (Scarletmoon56, Desiromaster, Newdingo)

Sorry Panther you're one of my favs, but you're outclassed here.

Though Panther may have the edge in skill, expirience and intelligence, Blake has a good versatility advantage with Gambol Shroud, her aura to protect from his attacks, and a good range advantage with dust ammunition.

Blake 8/10

Does it again in the next issue.

May I ask what that has to do with this fight?

Even if Panther can one shot, he'll struggle to hit her and she has tons of ranged options.

Combining Panther's AP advantage of 173 tons to Blake's 141 tons with his far greater skill, intelligence and experience, T'Challa tales this.

Gargoyle votes Panther for Crop's reasons... Manson votes Blake for Gargoyle's reasons... Wat?

Also, Panther for experience, vibranium suit, and AP advantage. This is Marvel Comics we're talking about. Panther has fought anything from geniuses to aliens. A cat girl with a fancy gun-sword isn't going to faze him.

i think vs battles wiki are just doing what screw attack did with superman, increasing a character even though they aren't on that level, blake wins, because black panther is wall level

Black Panther recently got upgraded to 8-A

i know, i am saying that those upgrades are kind of dumb, because those feats were gag feats, and the meteorite feat isn't realistic, pressure waves don't travel in a vacuum.

I'm gonna say Inconclusive for know. Blake has the edge in versitality with her Shadows+Elemental Dust and range but BP has slightly more AP, has more experiece and is very potent in tactics and observation.

I'm honestly going to vote inconclusive too for Scarletmoon's reasoning. The total votes here do have a whiff of stalemate to them.

Panther wouldn't just have a ap advantage he would have a durability advantage. Also isn't superhuman stamina higher then high?

Stamina should be judged based on their showings (or some kind of scaling, dunno), because any level of stamina can be dumped in profiles.

Just realized panther could break Blake sword via his claws. Also maybe it should be added that Panther fought kill monger for 13 hours straight.

I really want to put this in the ignorant statements thread.
