So uhh... Yeah, may as well try this. Beerus is 2-C, with around 6 universes in power. Beerus' Existence Erasure is a layered Existence Erasure that can affect characters with High-Godly regeneration, at least that's what his profile is implying. It comes packaged with Causality Manipulation, which... I mean the Devourer is acausal, so ehh??

The Devourer... His power is a bit more difficult to assess. He is definitely 2 universes, but could be higher depending on how the arcade cabinet worlds and the glitch worlds are viewed. At the same time, Devourer's regeneration is higher-dimensional, which CAN be a problem depending on how people wanna see it. Sure, Beerus can erase history and space-time, but like, so can the Devourer as far as I'm aware. I mean did the party really remember each other going through a bunch of shit prior to EBF5 at any point in EBF5? The Devourer's EE, too, is layered (See Here).

From what I can tell, I think Beerus would be faster on the draw than the Devourer. Beerus can simply point at the Devourer and say "Hakai" and that would be that. The Devourer's EE is done one of two ways: a handwave (which is done during the final boss fight) and Giga Doomsday (which not only erases the multiverse, but also closes the game when the Devourer is summoned). I think Giga Doomsday is one layer higher than the Existence Erasure tactic used in the final boss fight since it outright ignored the party's resistance to both the Cosmic Gigalith's EE and the Devourer's handwave EE tactic.

Plot, Law, Fate, and Dimensional Hax is something Beerus wouldn't necessarily be able to handle.

So basically, we have a character with 1-layer EE against High-Godly who also resists that same 1-layer EE (there is no dimensional tag there, so uhh...) vs a character with 2-layer EE with higher-dimensional regeneration and some serious hax.

Gonna equalize speed because there's no way in HFIL that the Devourer can do anything about Beerus otherwise. Beerus is apparently so fast that light would be a stalactite compared to him!

Here are the profiles:

Beerus' Profile
The Devourer's Profile

Who takes this?

Beerus: 0
The Devourer: 0
Inconclusive: 0

Pretty sure the Devourer stomps since its Plot/Fate Manipulation is passive.
Not sure on what planet actively switching the roles of characters (which would make an ability active, not passive) would be considered passive, but k.

While most of us will think of Beerus landing a Hakai first, does The Devourer have anything to keep himself from just getting sealed up like Beerus did to Old Kai?

Alexa- play Second Warning

Anyways
The Devourer should easily take this, no? Fate/Plot Manip are passive (Psycho would have to explain better, something about swapping roles around and whatnot), but in any case
Depending on what key is used (is it in simulation or out of the simulation?), the Dev is either going to see how powerful Beerus is, determine him as an immediate threat to his control, wave his little tentacle, and erase Beerus, and if that doesnt work somehow, Giga-Doomsday and end the simulation right there. Dev is fine (because it's done this several times before)

If he's out of the simulation?
How the hell is Beerus doing anything? If he cant interact with the Dev because of HDE, then the Dev is free to just toy with Beerus- or do as i said above

gonna have to vote eldritch horror on this one
