BDE Type 1 Resistance or Immunity?

there is something I want to ask on the BDE page, in Type 1 BDE which only lacks spatio temporal and does not exceed it, can often defend and is not affected by Spatial and Time Manipulation. unaffected here refers to Resistance or Immunity? because what I know if a character has a deficiency then he will have immunity

It certainly and mainly implies that they are unaffected (immune) to them.

What you're talking about is this statement :

or can at least defend against it by leaving spacetime at will

This is just talking about a possible scenario where if they are not immune then can at least defend against it by leaving space-time
